Genuine 1944 Warbird. Artillery spotter plane of the 547th US Field Artillery Battalion. Flown by Lt. Marvin A. Becker in the Rheinland and Ruhr Area during WW2. Saw action during the move towards the Rhein and crossing of it. US Ninth Army, XVI Corps. Reached the Elbe river and met the Russian Red Army shortly prior VE Day. Original US Ground Forces liaison aircraft.
